Gitlab Runners
At work we're using Gitlab – a software package that helps us organise our development. We have a fleet of “runners”, which we use to run automated tests and other tasks like packaging up our software. These can sometimes be an unruly bunch and it can be useful to be able to keep an eye on them.

Strike!
Today the public transport workers in Mainz are on strike for higher salaries and extra time off, and the trams and buses aren't running (except for an “emergency schedule” which isn't actually a schedule – prospective riders are encouraged to wait at the stop to see whether anything will turn up, and service ceases entirely after 8.30pm).
