It's my 59th birthday. Unbelievable.

Various nice birthday greetings from family and friends, otherwise it's pretty much a normal working day, but Marie and I are going for dinner to the cosy little Parlament wine pub in downtown Hechtsheim (we went there for my birthday 5 years ago, a few of days before the COVID-19 pandemic caused all restaurants to be closed).

Afterwards we're watching the TV news and – after some searching – the first three videos from the RSCDS Virtual Teachers' Conference (of which more later, perhaps).
