Between work, the weekly shopping run, cooking dinner, and sundry other chores there isn't much time for blogging today, so this will be brief.

In case you're interested, dinner today is the official shepherd's pie, a firm favourite and – unlike Monday's daal - definitely good for two days. We know that it's technically a “cottage pie” because we're using beef mince rather than lamb mince, but we can live with that. It takes a little time to make but the result is 100% worth it, and I'll post the recipe the next time we make it – I'm simply too busy today.
