Today is Eva's birthday and I sent her an e-mail message with a “motivational card” attached (probably not one she hadn't seen before). Also tried to catch her on the phone but no luck. Perhaps tomorrow. Wanted to sort out a present, too. Still on it. Sigh.

Busy with work (including some mildly tedious and long-winded meetings) but progress. Looking forward to the weekend; will probably be knocking off early tomorrow due to overtime earlier in the week.

In other news, the fancy white-board pens I ordered before Christmas finally arrived! It seems the company had some problems with their online shop and the order got delayed. The people at Pica Visor were nice enough to throw in some spare leads and micro-fibre cloths for cleaning for free, as a consolation. I have one set of pens as a (belated) Christmas present for my brother, who is working as an instructor, and one for myself, so I'm looking forward to using them (and giving the other set to Ivo).
