I took some time to tweak the templates for my web site (just because). There are various behind-the-scenes changes as well as some usability improvements.

Most obviously, the blog item pages now have buttons at the bottom that let you navigate to the previous and next item. This is more convenient than always having to come back to the index page.

The navigation facility at the bottom of the index pages now looks a lot nicer.

The whole site is now based on Bootstrap 5 (rather than Bootstrap 4) although the differences are fairly minuscule.

BTW, you can click on the blue “category” badges below the blog item titles to get an index of just the items in that category. The software also generates yearly and monthly index pages (try entering “https://www.anselms.net/blog/archive/2025/Jan/” into your browser's address bar) but I haven't yet figured out a good way of making these directly accessible. Perhaps later.

Incidentally, if the site seems to look weird, try force-reloading the style sheet by clicking on the “Reload” icon with the shift key held down, or clear your browser cache to evict the older version.
