Ella Sophie

Written for my niece, Ella Sophie Lingnau, born on 18 April 2005. I wrote the tune on 19 April, and that year's Frankfurt ball took place on 23 April (the subsequent Saturday), so Christine Moos and I played this as the after-dinner waltz. It has since become a staple of our repertoire. Goes well with Love & Laughter.
